The talk will give an introduction to BigQuery GIS which Google recently launched as public alpha. The highly-scalable BigQuery cloud data warehouse now supports geospatial data types and functions as first class citizens. BigQuery Geo Viz will be used to present a geo broadcast feature to inform smartphone users.
